Kidnappers write to another Lagos school, vow to abduct pupils

There is palpable fear at the Lagos State Model College , Kankon, Badagry, as kidnappers have threatened to abduct some pupils and staff members of the school.

It was learnt that the kidnappers sent two letters of the same content to the junior and senior sections of the college respectively.

This is just as the daughter of a councillorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the Odi Olowo Local Council Development Association, Ilupeju, Bode Adeosun , was reportedly abducted .

PUNCH Metro gathered on Wednesday that that the letters sent to Kankon were posted on the corridors leading to the offices of the two principals .

In the letters sighted by our correspondent , the kidnappers claimed responsibility for the abduction of six pupils of the Lagos State Model College , Igbonla , Epe, who had spent 28 days in captivity .

They vowed to abduct six pupils from Kankon , as well as the two principals of the college , boasting that nothing could stop them.

A copy of the letters read , “Kidnappers are visiting the school the same way we did at Igbonla , Epe. We are going to capture three pupils from senior school and three from junior school . We are kidnapping both principals .

“We are coming in two days’ time . No security put in place will stop us from gaining entry and fulfilling our mission as stated in this letter. Be expecting us !”

Our correspondent learnt that the letters were sent to the college about two weeks ago, while the security agencies and the state government were alerted .

Policemen and soldiers were said to have been deployed in the school.

However, when the ultimatum given by the suspects elapsed, the security presence around the school reportedly reduced , which caused panic.

Some parents , who spoke on condition of anonymity , said they had initially wanted to keep the threat secret, but decided otherwise due to the reduction in the number of operatives manning the school.

One of the parents said he had visited his ailing son, who is in Junior Secondary School , on Saturday, June 10 , when he saw one of the letters .

“As I was passing by the principal ’s office, I saw a notice and stopped to read it. I was shocked when I read the content . The principal was not around at that time , but I alerted some staff members present.

“I informed the Parents Forum Association chairman, who contacted the school authorities . The government and security agencies had also been informed .

“A large number of policemen and soldiers were initially deployed in the school . There were also security vans patrolling the school surroundings .

“But when I went back four days after , the number of security men had reduced considerably . I saw only two policemen at the school gate.”

Another parent said he was at the school on Wednesday (yesterday ) to assess the security situation , but was disappointed , urging the government to take the threat seriously.

He also lamented that the school fence was very low while there were bushes at the back of the premises, which could be exploited by the hoodlums .

He said, “Part of the bushes had been cleared upon the threat , but there are still a lot to be done. The school fence needs to be raised. There should be light around the fence for safety at night. ”

A parent called for massive security around the school, saying some insiders could be aiding the hoodlums .

“There is a Nigerian Air Force base near the school; the threat should not be taken for granted, ” she added.

The PFA Chairman, Mr . Wale Alo, said the case was reported at the Akpa Police Post and Area K Command , Badagry .

He said, “ We have been trying to beef up security . The state government sent policemen and military personnel . The school also employed some vigilantes to secure the school, especially at night. I learnt that the deputy governor is aware. Although the handwriting on the letters looks like that of a child, the content is beyond any pupil ’s reasoning . The school is a little bit

GUYS: See 6 Useful Tips To Last Longer In Bed

One’s romantic desires are always at peak when one is in the mood for s3x and it can be very frustrating if the mind and body are not in sync to help out with the desire you want then that night of intense s3x, passion and love you want will do down the drain. There are times when the body is weak and tired to get to the level of satisfaction you crave and this will become an issue for you and your partner especially when it happens regularly which is why you need to be well geared up before hitting the bed in order to spice things up beneath the sheets.

Lasting longer in bed is not only satisfying, but it has other benefits attached to it, it is improves intimacy with your partner, connects and bond you more both physically and emotionally which makes lasting long in bed a win-win situation for you.

An early orgasm is absolutely not a pretty way to end a romantic night with your woman, so guys, below are some things you can try to help you last longer in bed and spice things up with your partner.

Have a slow start: “There is a lot that you can do before you get down to s3x, so don’t ever underestimate the importance of romance, include some romantic gestures in your repertoire to set the mood right, a slow start can keep the desires within you burning and help make the build-up to the orgasm just as pleasurable and a lot more memorable”.

Start with slow passionate kisses: “Then try to hold on to that moment a little longer, there’s nothing more passionate than kissing and once you get those sparks going there should be no turning back but a kiss doesn’t mean that you need to just stay glued to each other’s lips, the cheeks, ears and the face all deserve a peck and more soft bites on the ears and neck can also do wonders, the trick is to find the most sensitive area of your partner as a bite on the shoulder, near the armpit, or kissing your woman’s inner thigh and other small gestures can help keep the flames soaring”.

Get creative: “Foreplay is extremely important to s3xual satisfaction and is often the most neglected aspect when it comes to men spend some time with your partner, exploring each other and keep in mind that even though s3x is often treated as a purely physical act, it has a deep emotional quotient too so a gentle touch or caress can be a lot more powerful than penetration, this will help you bond better emotionally and also help you to connect better physically, not only to delay your orgasm but also to experience an epic one”.

Talk and laugh: “Intense romance needs stimulation of all your important senses so once you have established a bond with your partner through touch, talk; rather whisper in your partner’s ears, while dirty talk can be great and can give your partner an ego boost, don’t shy away from talking about your feelings as well as these little pep-talks can keep you in the mood and in sync with your romantic desires till you get to the final act”.

Avoid stress: Performance anxiety can at times be a dampener, it is stress that makes you go weak in the mind and keeps you from putting your best foot forward, even when you are in bed if you have the slightest doubt that you aren’t able to match up to your partner’s expectations, stop and breathe, clear your mind and get rid of any thoughts that could affect the act”.

Go slow: Speed is of the essence, but not when you are in bed and want to last longer, ever heard the saying ‘slow and steady wins the race’? That saying holds true, especially under the sheets, when you reach the final act, ensure that you are in total control of your movements. If you feel you are reaching an orgasm too soon, slow down have total control over your strokes and while making love don’t just focus on the thrusts, but slow down and enjoy the physical connection it will help you sustain the mood for longer and approach orgasm a little later”.

Notorious Kidnap Kingpin, Evans To Face Death Penalty

Lagos state Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has signed into law a death penalty or life imprisonment for the offence of kidnap and forceful extortion in Lagos State as he signs into law the state kidnapping prohibition bill.

The law provides for death penalty for kidnappers whose victims die in their custody, and life imprisonment for the act of kidnapping.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the Lagos State House of Assembly passed the bill on January 5.

The governor said that the law was enacted to address key issues bordering on security, adding that kidnapping had become a major threat to the safety of residents and, therefore, required decisive action by the government.

“This law imposes a penalty of life imprisonment for kidnapping for ransom.

“The law stipulates that, where a victim dies in the course of kidnapping, the suspect is liable on conviction to death.

“Security is of utmost importance to our administration, and we are confident that this law will serve as a deterrent to anybody, who may desire to engage in this wicked act within the boundaries of Lagos State.

“Our justice system will be required to execute this law in absolute and make sure that any criminal caught faces the full wrath of the law,” Ambode said.

Considering the enormity of Evans’ crime, it is like that he will be facing a life imprisonment or death penalty punishment.

EFCC Set to Prosecute Former Governors Accused of Corruption

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has said it still has plans to prosecute former Governors who embezzled funds.

This was disclosed by the EFCC Zonal Head, South-South, Ishaq Salihu, in an interview on Saturday.

Salihu insisted that they would not bow to external pressure in its anti-corruption war.

“The searchlight of the EFCC is not only on former governors; its (searchlight) is also on other Nigerians who think they can take funds belonging to the country and put them in their private pockets.

“The EFCC, under Mr. Ibrahim Magu’s leadership, will never succumb to any pressure. Like we have always said, there will be no sacred cow,” he said.

Salihu also hailed the Judiciary over the jail term handed to former governor of Adamawa State, Bala Ngilari.

“The EFCC is trying its best to fight corruption but kudos should be given to the judiciary in the handling of Adamawa’s ex governor’s case.

“The fight against corruption is noble and the results can be seen. The judgment secured against the former Governor of Adamawa State is a victory for Nigeria. It shows that the judiciary is independent and courageous,” he added.

5 Things You Must Know Before You Register For 2017 JAMB (Must Read)

Information reaching me today is that JAMB form will officially be out any moment from now…

I decided to drop this guidelines earlier so that those writing JAMB wont make any iota of mistake. You must make it oh whether you like it or not, lol!
The vision of this stupendous group is to make your dream, a reality and we are committed to it!

1. WHY ARE YOU SO AFRAID OF JAMB? Please before you register for 2017 jamb, cast away any iota of fear of failure in you. Thought of failure is the beginning of failure.

That you didn’t score high last year doesn’t mean you wont make it this year. Believe in yourself & be optimistic that this gotta be your last jamb. With God and determination, all things are possible… FORGET THE PAST AND FOCUS ON YOUR BRIGHT FUTURE.

2. CAREER CHOICE: Please I beg you with peculiar intensity of manner, never allow anyone to choose your course of study, be it your parents or close friends… You know yourself and your ability. Ask yourself, do I love this course I wanna put? Do I have the ability and all it takes to study it? Do I have passion for it? Make sure you answer those questions yourself. And also consult your God.
Studying a course you don’t have passion for “may” lead to frustrations … THINK ABOUT IT.

3. RIGHT SUBJECT COMBINATIONS: Make sure you choose the right subject combinations. Someone got 280 in JAMB last year, reach her department cut off mark but not admitted due to this error…
Consult your JAMB brochures or ask anybody studying that your dream course to guide you…If your not informed, you “may” be deformed.

4. DOUBLE JAMB REGISTRATION: For the sake of your future, forget about double registration.
Those caught last year got there JAMB results cancelled and were banned from taking JAMB for 3 years… DO YOU WANNA RISK YOUR FUTURE? THE CHOICE IS YOURS ANYWAY.

5. Exam Malpractice: In as much as we all have the freedom of choice, but I will never advice any of my loved ones to start thinking of malpractice now.
Expo can fail anytime but Brains never fail… IF YOU DON’T BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, WHO WILL?

Good luck to you all that gotta participate in 2017 UTME exam.

Femi Falana Speaks on Hidden Details about Buhari’s Health Condition

A renowned lawyer and senior advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana has condemned President Muhammadu Buhari for not fully disclosing the status of his health to Nigerians.

Falana said Nigerians have the right to know the health status of a sitting president. Speaking on a Channel television’s programme, Falana said even if the law does not mandate the president to make such disclosures, Nigerians deserve to know his health status for the purpose of accountability.

“Under the Freedom of Information Act, the right to health is supposed to be shrouded in secrecy but I am saying now that henceforth, this situation calls for a review of the law so that we won’t be left guessing next time,” Falana said.

“We are talking of the President. Many state governors go in and out of the country, some for a month or two, some for three months without anybody asking any question and without any handover to their deputies,” he said.

The senior lawyer said the system has been structured in a manner that a public office holder does not have to be secretive about issues concerning him.

Falana said: “But I am saying that with what we are going through now, we must come to appreciate that if you are going into public office, you have no secrecy.”

“It is our duty and right and the President took cognizance of that last year when he disclosed to Nigerians what he was going abroad for. This year should not be an exception.

“This is what has given room to a lot of rumours and speculation which are totally uncalled for,” he said.

President Muhammadu Buhari had written to the Senate to extend his initial 10-days’ vacation. However, the president’s letter has raised controversies with Nigerians calling for a total disclosure of the Buhari present health status

Meanwhile, the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has assumed duty as the Acting President of Nigeria.
